  • Temporary Chat: Incognito mode for privacy.

Here's the top 10 ChatPTT hacks that you probably haven't tried yet.

ChatBT seems to be coming out with new features, new upgrades almost every other week now and then.

When you throw on top of that all the other generative AI tools out there that are doing the same thing, it's almost impossible to keep up, even if you're in the business of trying to keep up.

So for those of you who don't have time to learn all of the latest features, all of the latest upgrades, here's the video for you.

These are the top 10 ChatTT hacks. These are upgrades and new features that you may not have known about and can significantly make you more efficient.

If you like this, by the way, I spend a lot of time putting these together.

If you could please press the like button.

If you're watching this on social media, it'd be greatly appreciated.

My first and most important feature is Voice mode.

I use this all the time.

Voice to voice is by far the feature that I use the most.

I would always go to my app when I needed to speed up the process of whatever it was that I wanted from ChatGBT.

Now, as you can see, it's included in the desktop.

It's right in the lower right corner of the prompt box you just toggle over.

It says use voice mode.

Let's give it a try.

Hi Chad, GBT. I'm speaking to everybody about Voice to voice on the desktop.

Say hi.

Hi everyone. Great to be here.

Voice to Voice on the desktop is a game changer, isn't it?

It makes our interactions so much more dynamic and engaging.

What's on your mind today?

Well, one of the other things it does is it speeds up the process because voice is even faster than typing, right?

Absolutely.

Voice communication can significantly speed up the process.

It's often faster and more natural than typing, allowing for quicker exchange of ideas and information.

Plus it can make multitasking easier as you can speak while doing other tasks.

Give that a try.

I think you're going to find that it's very useful and also it transcribes everything, just like ChatPTT always does when you interact with it.

So you get everything that ChatPTT already gives you, only faster Voice to voice on the desktop.

Number two, don't underestimate the efficiency of just a simple forward slash.

Our next feature is the forward slash.

When you click the forward slash, what you're going to see are three pre-programmed chatbots that pop up.

The first one is Picture image making.

This is Dolly3, so that if you were to press picture, it already knows you want an image, so you don't have to ask it to create an image.

The second is the search engine.

So if you were to click that, it's going to act more like a search engine, but it's also going to combine its generative AI skills.

So it's also going to give you answers along with it.

And lastly, this is reason.

This is GPT01, and this is the Deep Learning Logic Reasoning upgrade that came out with Chat GBT.

Now, part of the reason why maybe you would use something like this is that if you're in your thread, you are going to use several of these features.

It's just a little bit easier.

It's going to save you a little bit more time.

And as OpenAI continues to create features, you're going to find more on here.

So this forward slash is going to become even more and more valuable over time.

That's forward slash. Check it out.

Number three, search.

ChatBT is going after Google's lunch with this one.

Our next feature is the Search the Web feature.

As you can see, right next to the paperclip is an icon that looks like the globe called Search the Web.

Before I select it, I'm just gonna put Taylor Swift and ChatPTT is gonna say, what would you like to know and discuss about Taylor Swift?

But now if I go to the Search the Web, Taylor Swift on there again.

And as you can see, I highlighted search.

Now it's gonna act like a search engine, find all the information on Taylor Swift and give me the latest updates.

OpenAI has made it clear that they are going to be competing with Google and they are going to make ChatGBT an incredible search and answer engine.

So this is just the first version of what is probably going to be something incredible.

That's the Search the Web icon.

Give it a try.

Number four, the control command K key to just help you organize and find past threads.

The more you use ChatPTT, the more you're going to need to search some of your old requests, some of the old threads that you have.

I've been using ChatGBT for two years and I have a lot of history with ChatPTT.

And it gets harder and harder to find the information from previous threads, previous requests.

Well, this feature solves that problem.

And I find that I'm using this feature more and more.

Go to your keyboard.

Press CTRL command K, a search box will show up.

Now it's going to show the most recent requests that you've had from ChatPTT your most recent threads, but it'll search all of your threads that are out there.

For instance, if I were to just put something like strategic plan, because I know over the years I've requested strategic plans for many different reasons.

And ChatGBT now brings up every thread that I've ever had where Strategic plan is in the thread.

So I know this is going to go back a couple years.

This has saved me a lot of time and is more useful the more I use it.

And all you have to do is hit the Control command K button on your keyboard.

Give it a try.

Number five, Memory the memory function in ChatPTT.

I don't know if you're aware of this, but as you use ChatBT, it is remembering things about you.

Important dates, important events, important requests.

It is picking up data about you because it really wants to get to know you and understand you so well that when you're searching for something, it is going to find exactly what you want.

It wants to be the best AI assistant for you that it can be.

Now, if that makes you uncomfortable, that it is remembering a lot of different things about you.

You can go and check out what it already has remembered about you, and you could adjust it if you want to.

All you'd have to do is go to your profile picture in the top right corner, click that, go to Settings and select Personalization and that's where the memory is.

First of all, the memory is default on.

If you don't want ChatGBT to even learn anything about you, you can turn it off.

Now.

What it says here is ChatGPT will become more helpful as you chat, picking up on details and preferences to tailor responses to you.

You could also tell it to remember things about you.

Like you could tell it if you want, that your birthday is July 6, or something like that.

If you really want to, it will then remember anything that you want along with what it randomly selects.

Now if you want to manage this, you can go to manage here, pick that, and it's gonna show you everything that it randomly remembered about you.

And if you don't like some of these, or if these are inconsistent with what you want it to remember, you could just go to the trash can, click that, have it forget for good.

Or you could just clear all the memories if you want to.

You could just press it and just clear them all if you want.

That's up to you.

The whole reason behind all of this memory is that ChatBT wants to be the best AI assistant that it can for you and wants to customize the experience for you.

And that is ChatPTT memory.

All you got to do is hit your profile picture, go to Settings, and select Personalization.

It's right there for you.

Number six, Temporary chat.

You can go incognito if you want to.

Now that you know that ChatGBT is remembering things about you, there may be times where you want to prompt ChatPTT on something that you don't want it to remember, so you kind of want to be in incognito mode.

And that is our next feature.

If you go over to ChatPTT4.0 and you click on that, it'll open up the different models that you have options to use.

And what you'll see at the bottom is what's called temporary chat.

So if you click temporary chat, you'll see it says temporary chat.

This chat won't appear in history, use or create memories, or be used to train our models.

For safety purposes, we may keep a copy for up to 30 days.

So basically, you can ask it anything and it's not going to remember it.

So, for instance, if you want to ask Chat how many chicken nuggets are too many in one sitting, and it tells you everything you need.

And then once you're happy with the answers that you're getting there, you could turn off your temporary chat and now you're back again.

ChatGBT, temporary chat. Give it a try.

Number seven, improve the model for everyone.

Don't forget, ChatBT is training on everything you do.

One of the things that ChatBT is doing as you're using it is that it is learning from every interaction that it has with you.

It is training, it is getting smarter every day, and it's thanks to you and everybody else who's using it that's helping it get smarter and smarter.

Now, the risk associated with that is that if you put something confidential or proprietary on ChatGBT, it's also learning and training from that.

And once it's learned that, it's now part of the ChatGBT brain, it could share whatever it learned with other people.

Now, if that concerns you, you can manage that.

And that's our next feature: data controls.

So if you go to your profile picture in the top right corner and you click that, and you go to your settings, you'll see where it says data controls.

You click data controls, and right at the top it says improve the model for everyone.

What that means is that ChatPT is training on all of your data, and it is Default on.

So if you click that, you'll see where it says improve the model for everyone.

And what does that mean?

Allow your content to be used to train our models, which makes ChatPTT better for you and everyone who uses it.

We take steps to protect your privacy.

You can learn more about that.

If you're uncomfortable with that, you can turn it off.

If you turn it off, it's not going to affect the quality of the results that you get.

You're still going to get the same results from ChatGBT whether the training is on or off.

So you don't have to worry about that.

Secondly, it is a layer of protection if you accidentally put something confidential or proprietary on there.

Now, that doesn't mean that something confidential proprietary isn't going to still sneak through, but it certainly allows for another layer of protection because in theory, it's not training.

However, be mindful that in the fine print it still holds on to every interaction, every request you've made from ChatPTT.

OpenAI is going to hold on to it for 30 days for abuse monitoring.

So it is still out there.

There is still a risk.

I think I'm going to turn mine off.

And again, how do you get there?

Go to your profile picture, hit settings, hit data controls and then go to improve the model for everyone.

It's default on.

You can turn it off and then press done.

Check it out.

Number eight, Customized ChatPTT.

ChatPTT doesn't have to sound so robotic.

It can sound a lot more like you.

The more you use ChatGBT, the easier it is to recognize when somebody else is using generative AI like ChatBT, especially if they're not using this technology correctly and they're just letting ChatPTT answer it because typically it sounds very robotic.

It does not sound like them.

You always want to use this technology where you're including your voice in it, where it sounds like you, and where it's very difficult, if impossible, to determine that you're using generative AI.

Now, one of the features that ChatPTT has that can help you significantly in having it sound like you and making it very hard for anybody to know that you're using this powerful technology.

It's called Customize ChatPTT.

So if you go to your profile picture, you click that, you go to customize ChatPT and you'll see that there's two boxes that you'll need to fill out.

The first box is what would you like ChatPTT to know about you to provide better responses?

So this is where you can put your personal professional information.

Basically what I did is I took the information that was right on my website copy paste.

I also instructed it that even though my name is Anthony Des Simone, please call me Tony so that its more of a personal touch, especially when I am using voice to voice.

And then down below, how would you like ChatGBT to respond?

You can have ChatGBT respond in any way that you want.

I've asked it to be very concise, clear and direct with a professional tone.

And also you'll see here I gave a sample of my writing style so when it does perform edits for me, it's writing in my style so it sounds a lot like me.

Now the nice thing about the how would you like ChatPTT to respond is you could have it respond like any fictional or historical character.

So if you wanted to respond like Abraham Lincoln, it'll respond like Abraham Lincoln.

If you want it to give you a positive quote after every request, it'll give you a positive quote after every request.

You can certainly have some fun with that.

Now below the two boxes you'll see GPT4 capabilities where you can turn on or turn off some of the other features that CheatBT offers.

The web search Dolly3 and code interpreter.

That's up to you.

If you have the free version, you'll find that you'll run out of usage time very quickly.

And if you shut off Dallyi3, I know that that takes up a lot of the tokens that you get.

And if you shut these off, you'll probably be able to extend your time in the free version.

As far as if you have a paid version, then you really don't have to worry about this because usually you're not going to run out of your tokens or run out of time.

Now if there's a reason why you don't want ChatGBT to respond like the way that you've asked it to on customized ChatGPTT, you can turn it off and then you could turn it back on whenever you want.

When you've entered the information, press save and you're good to go.

So now not only does ChatGBT remember things about you that are going on in your life currently, but it also has customized ChatPTT, so it knows a lot about your history as well.

So it kind of puts the whole picture together when you combine the two.

It will even do a better job at acting as your customized assistant.

I highly recommend that you fill out your customized ChatGBT.

Give it a try.

Number nine, Archive.

There's a lot of files out there.

After you start using it for a couple of years, it's time to archive.

The more you use ChatGPT, the more threads or requests you're going to have, the more history you're going to have on the left-hand side over here.

The more you use it, the more difficult it's going to get to find previous threads, previous history.

So the next feature I want to share with you is how to organize that better.

First of all, if you go to any one of your threads, any of your previous requests are documented and saved on the left-hand side here.

You'll see if you highlight over them, there will be three dots and you'll have several options.

The first one is share.

If you want to share this thread with anybody who uses ChatBT, you can just press Create link and copy the link.

And you can send it via email, you can send it via LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit or X.

And if you for some reason want to share this on the Internet, you can click this box and make this chat discoverable on the web.

That's up to you.

And what they'll be able to do is see the link, they can review it, they could copy it.

They can't edit it, but they can certainly use it.

Now the second option is you can rename it.

If you didn't like the name that ChatGBT gave that thread, you don't have to keep that.

You could just press rename and rewrite it.

Or if in a thread you found that you had several different topics that you discussed with ChatGBT in that one thread, you can rename it so that each topic is included in the title to make it easier to search in the future.

You can archive.

This is a great way to keep your threads clean.

They will come off your left-hand side and be placed in your archived file.

If you want to find your archive file, all you have to do is go to your profile picture, hit settings, and in the general, you'll see Archive chats.

If you select Manage, all of your archived chats will be there.

If you find that your threads are a mess, just very disorganized, and you want to just clean it all up, you can hit Archive all chats and then you can start fresh with perhaps a new filing procedure.

If for some reason you don't want to have all your chats there at all, you don't even want to save them, you can hit delete all and all of your historical chats will disappear.

Now if we go back to the 3-dot options, you can also just delete your thread right there if you prefer not to archive it and just delete it right there.

By using this feature, you can certainly clean up that left-hand side, make it more organized, be able to file everything better and become even more efficient with how you're using ChatGPT.

Try it out.

Then lastly number 10, MyGPTs.

You can create your own chatbots.

And the final feature is creating GPT chat bots.

AI assistance that can help you with any task.

If you go to the left-hand side, you hit Explore GPTs.

It'll bring you over to a whole lot of chatbots that people have already created.

There are millions and millions of chatbots that can make your life easier.

You'll see the most popular GPTs are on the front screen, organized in major categories.

Writing, productivity, research, analysis, education, lifestyle, programming.

There are millions.

So there is a search box and if you search for any kind of task, you're gonna find that GPT there.

Now you can create your own GPTs.

If you have the paid version, you would just go to the right corner where it says create and you have your own personal programmer here.

It's going to walk you through the process of creating any kind of chatbot that you want and it takes about five minutes.

Now, I've created videos on how to create GPT, so I'm not going to go through that process.

But I highly recommend that you get into the habit of creating GPT because what you'll discover is that they're good, they're not great, but in 12 months they're gonna be amazing.

And if you get into the habit of creating these chatbots today, then you're going to be prepared for when they're ready to really make an impact on your business internally and externally.

So creating chatbots, creating AI assistance, you just go to explore GPTs.

There are millions already created.

Everything from editing your email, to helping you to help assisting you in Canva, to researching and analysis, to even helping you as a therapist or a songmaker.

You could do anything with these GPTs.

Check it out, give it a try.

That's my top 10.

Also, I created this PDF for you with links to each one of the videos so that you can check them out again at your leisure.

Now, full disclosure, most of these features and upgrades are for the paid version, not the free version.

For a while, it made sense to just try it out with the free version, but ChatGBT keeps adding more features and upgrades for just the paid version.

I highly recommend that you pay for the paid version.

It's worth the dollar per month.

Trust me on that.

If you liked what you saw here, please press like if you're watching this on social media and I look forward to hearing how many of these features and upgrades and hacks these top 10 that you knew about.

Thanks again for watching.
